Today, our prompt from Nurture Photography is yellow. I did manage to find a couple things. Subjects that won’t be here much longer with the days growing shorter and the evenings are cooler. I really need to bring in my indoor flowers before they get “bit” with frost when I least expect it! I would be one disappointed camper!
So, on to today’s yellow finds. This first one I couldn’t resist playing with some texture and a photo mask . I was forced into shooting in the early afternoon and the sun was so bright and yellow doesn’t shoot well under those conditions. But I did the best I could and that’s one reason I decided to texture play. These bushy little zinnias are hanging in there and still giving me a smile.
As I walked on through the yard, I found this lonely little dandelion…….and I’m sure glad it was lonely. They can be such a nuisance in early Spring.
Now, there’s plenty of tiny yellow leaves from the Locust trees in our side yard so I just captured exactly what I see and walk through.
Since it was so busy-looking with all those tiny leaves, I decided to create a texture with it which I’m happy to share with you! Simply click on the texture image to download. If you use it, I’d love for you to pop back with a link to your image. I’d love to see what you do with it!
Thanks for stopping by,
