Wow, this past couple weeks have been absolutely BUSY…….newborn grandson…..keeping his big sister for several days…..a short 2 day break…..then having my 7 and 5 year old grandson for four days…..but oh what a WONDERFUL busy! And now I’m trying to get back to normal….what is normal?
I’ll start back in my normal by linking up to Kim Klassen’s Texture Tuesday this week with — Iris in Macro!
Editing photos is a constantly changing process with changes to Lightroom and it’s all GOOD! You may see me using textures for Texture Tuesday OR you may find me using presets in Lightroom……it evolves like everything else.
I shot these last week but haven’t had a chance to post ANYTHING much lately. I decided to capture a few macro images.
These first two were taken in the garden from the Iris plants themselves. It had rained the night before so I was out early with my macro lens and tripod to capture the water drops on the blooms. As my luck would have it……the minute I get set up, a breeze happens to roll in (never fails). So I wait!
And now………a still life captured in Macro as well. I used Kim’s “organic” preset. I’m absolutely in LOVE with this image. Would make a wonderful large print or canvas.
I had a woven basket on it’s side and as you can see, a crocheted doily lining the bottom with iris, woven ribbon and my scissors added. All this on my DIY chippy painted boards, lovely light on the back deck………sigh.
I’m off to link up and possibly making a few more posts to reach my comfort level of “catching up”.
Hugs and Have A Creative Day!
