Our Winter Storm Olympia and Miss Raider

They called it Winter Storm Olympia and Miss Raider didn't mind it at all......almost. It started the evening of February 15th. Huge flakes of snow quickly covering everything in sight. Old Man Winter continued bombarding us throughout the night. I measured almost 10 inches of snow on our table on the back deck. I couldn't resist making the little tag to tie around the ruler. So then, … [Read more...]

It was snowing so hard, I wanted to stay under the overhang with the camera....ON the tripod. In all three images, I was using my Tamron 28-300 … [Read more...]

More November Snow

I'm absolutely loving this snow we're getting.  Makes me want to just go ahead and decorate for Christmas. I'm sure some people already have.  I normally wait til the day after Thanksgiving and take photos of some of my favorite decorations as I go. We're supposed to get snow tonight and into tomorrow.  They originally said 2 to 4 inches but we've already got that much and it's still snowing. … [Read more...]
