This week’s Scripture is Psalms 71:1
“In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be put to confusion.”
I snapped this photo while the dew was still on the leaves of the blueberry bush. Even it shows luscious color in the fall.
The Life Application Bible says this about verse 71:1…..
“The psalmist was old and saw his life as a testimony of all God had done for him (71:9, 18). Remembering God’s lifetime of blessing will help us to see the consistency of his grace throughout the years, to trust him for the future, and to share with others the benefits of following him.”
I think sometimes we get so wrapped up in this fast-paced world of our with our computers and cell phones and various activities. I could only hope that my life would be a testimony to all God has done for me. How often do we think about that? Do we take the TIME to think about that?
I need to make a conscious effort and maybe even write my blessings in a journal as well as other things I’m grateful for. Thanksgiving is coming up soon and it would be a great project! Why not join me?
So glad you stopped by today….
Hugs and Have A Blessed Day!!
