There’s going to be a new way of eating in my everyday life beginning today!
I realize that if you haven’t followed me closely since March or April, you probably don’t know the health problems I’ve had. Turns out that it’s nothing major BUT
we I have a problem with my cholesterol and I’ve been fighting that for YEARS!
I’ve had enough! Enough of the statin drugs that don’t seem to be doing anything. And enough of my own not eating the proper foods. Oh, I’ve done much better since back in March, but even with the medication and walking I’ve been doing, the cholesterol continues to rise.
So I made a visit to a Naturopathic Doctor and along with my regular Doctor, we’re trying something totally different. And it involves the types of food I eat, as well as some good old-fashioned herbal supplements to see if we can get this contrary cholesterol under control once and for all!
I took this shot on the spur of the moment with my iPhone.
Breakfast consists of 1 protein and 5 carbs plus 8.5 grams of protein powder in water. So my protein was 2 eggs and the carbs were tomato, red pepper, spring onions, and spinach. I simply scrambled it all together and voila! Breakfast! And I have to honestly say that I liked it! I can eat this!
The carbs had to be weighed out and I actually cheated myself by only adding 4 carbs so I could’ve added a few more tomato pieces, or something.
And do you want to know the best part??? This image was shot on my kitchen floor so YOU get to see my dirty floor! Oh come on now……it’s not that bad, is it? LOL
