I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve picked up my camera. The loss of our furbaby Boss threw us into a downward spiral of grief. And I’ve began watching my granddaughter three days each week so my daughter could go back to work. I’m thoroughly loving having Alexia with me and it’s more of a help to me than anyone realizes.
So this morning, I ventured outdoors and picked my only daffodil so far and shot some images.
This is the one I chose to post. I thought the quote was so very appropriate for me.
I’m linking up with Kim Klassen’s Friday Finds today and used 2 of Kim’s textures on this image. The first two layers were using her “waterfront18_totry” texture with the first layer at multiply 100%, second layer at soft light 100%. I then added Kim’s “waterfront18_magic” at soft light 60% opacity and it just made the texture from the other layers so much more vivid.
It felt good to begin getting back in the groove and I hope you enjoyed the share today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs and Have A Creative Day!
