Yes, I AM nuts about acorns as you’ll soon see. They’re just the cutest little things with their caps on.
“The days may not be so bright and balmy—yet the quiet and melancholy that linger around them is fraught with glory.
Over everything connected with autumn there lingers some golden spell—some unseen influence that
penetrates the soul with its mysterious power.” ~Northern Advocate
I started with this vintage bowl of my Mother’s. The first shot was using my 50mm with an f/1.4 aperture and was happy with a bit of blur.
A top-down shot using my kit lens – 18-105mm. I actually love the crispness that this lens gives to an image. I find myself using it quite often when I’m doing top-down shots.
One more with the bowl, again using the kit lens and a different set of leaves.
I switched to my 90mm macro, which by the way, is great for shots other than macro, and again, love the crispness I can get.
Here’s another macro. Simple…no props….going in my favs.
I love the pop of color in this one with the rich hues of brown and gold….back to the 50mm at f/1.4
And this one……oh the yummy color in the leaves! Absolutely LOVE the blur.
I hope you enjoyed some Autumn inspiration today. There will be more and different objects as we move through Autumn here in Northeastern Ohio.
Thanks so much for looking,
