There’s nothing more comforting than being able to spend several hours doing what you love to do. I’m fortunate enough to be able to do that and today I spent the morning shooting these images of honey and oats…….and an old cutting board, a piece of linen, a honey dipper, and a banner and tag that I made with scrapbook paper. I thought the bees were fitting for the honey.
I have a couple goodies for you today as well………2 lightroom templates for use in the Print module. I used one of them on my very last image in this post. It already measures 600 x 400 pixels…….ready for the web……and all you need to do is import it into your Lightroom Print Module and drag your images into it.
There’s a 2nd template as well…….I forgot to check the measurements before zipping it up……but you can import it into Lightroom and have a play.
You can download both of them from my Dropbox HERE. Enjoy!!
Now…….onto the images.
First up is a square orientation. I just love these……especially if I want to quickly print some 4×4 images, or they made a great 12×12 canvas as well.
No processing on any of these other than in Lightroom and played with a few presets that I’ve had from “Pretty Presets”.
Next up is a portrait orientation that I’m liking as well. I adore the way the sun shining through the glass jar created that lovely golden glow from the honey. I had my aperture set at 2.8 on this one to slightly fade out the banner in the back.
And here are some other shots at different angles and/or moving props. This is one of the templates you’ll get in your download. I find it’s a great way to share multiple images without having to scroll….scroll….scroll. And there’s that golden glow again……….love it!
This is what I came up with for the prompt in Be Still Fifty Two this week.
If you decide to use the templates……I’d love to hear what you think. Shoot me an email to….. cheryl at cherylmccainphotography dot com….. and let me know.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!
