There’s nothing that tastes better than home canned foods when the snow is flying and all the farm markets are closed. Peaches are a favorite of ours and I hadn’t canned any for a number of years.
It’s a lot of work but worth every minute of making sure the jars are sterilized, canner is ready, lids and rings are ready too, not to mention the feeling of accomplishment and knowing exactly WHAT we’re eating.
I had so much fun with this shoot. Sometimes I get in a hurry for one reason or another but today…….today I chose to slow down and have fun with it by changing it up several times.
I’d love it if you’d leave a comment and tell me which number (above each photo) is most pleasing to you. I couldn’t make up my mind, so I worked through each one of them and now I’m letting you decide. Notice the change in each one as you scroll through.
AND each one was edited in Lightroom. I used the kk-trace preset with some slight adjustments.
I’ll be helping Jessi can more corn at the end of this week and then if I can still find peaches, we’ll be doing more of them too! When October rolls around, I imagine some cooler weather, more trips to the farm markets in search of apples, maybe some pears, and certainly pumpkins this year. I’ll have my own organic pumpkin for Thanksgiving pumpkin pies this year!
Now I’m leaving the decision to you………leave me a comment with the photo number that you like best! Can’t wait to see which you choose!
Thanks in advance and Have a Creative Day!
