Who knew that gathering sticks could be so much fun? Apparently, Alexia finds MUCH enjoyment in doing so. And I do too! I love seeing her outdoors and finding activities to do.
It was Easter Sunday…..a beautiful day….in more ways than one! Jessi, Duane, Alexia and Benson came for Easter dinner and then we spent time catching up on the news and chatting on the front deck. Alexia wanted to pick up sticks, and so we did. She and I carried them to the brush pile that we’re building with each windy Spring day! Ugghh. It’s like this every year though, I should be used to it by now. But I know exactly who I can call on to help pick up sticks now!
I used a template page from Anna Aspnes’ “Watercolor Template Album 2”. I colored the textures and stains using hue-saturation adjustments.
It feels wonderful to be creating meaningful projects!!
Did you do any scrapbooking, photography or house-related projects this weekend?? Do tell! I’d love to hear!
Hugs and Have a Creative Day!!
