Oh what fun I had last weekend! I went with friends to a HUGE garage sale that our local “Angels for Animals” holds each year to raise money for the shelter. I found some linens there but THEN……..we went on to attend an open house at “The Little Red Hen”, a local antique shop where I found 2 teacups and 1 small bowl by one of my favorites……..Homer Laughlin.
I just loved the simplicity of them and here’s just one of the teacups. I’ll be sharing the others later on.
I added 2 layers of texture to this first image….Kim’s kk-anna and her kk-confidence, different blend modes and different opacities. I then masked the texture off the cup itself leaving JUST a tad of the texture on the tea.
I wanted a closer shot and added just one layer of Kim’s “kk-BB1” texture at soft light blend mode and reduced the opacity to 50%. I really liked the way the original image looked but a little bit of texture went a long way and I like it.
Isn’t that cup just so simple, yet pretty? Wait til you see the other one and the matching bowl in a different color! LOVE.
Okay, that’s it for this post and now I’m off to link up with
Thanks so much for stopping by and Have A Creative Day!
