Today I’m linking up with Kim Klassen’s Friday Finds……which is all about what we’ve found, discovered, or uncovered throughout this past week.
I went antiquing with a friend the other day, a place called “Mr. Darby’s”. It was my first time there. They have quite a variety of wonderful old items and many vendors. My friend seems to be a magnet for cutting boards. Of course she spotted this one first just as she did another time we went antiquing. But she was kind enough to relinquish this one to me……thanks so much Denise!!
I pondered my set-up and finally came up with an idea. Luckily I had some fish in the freezer and the asparagus was cut from my own garden……the very first cuttings of these plants…..as you need to let them grow for several years before cutting any of the asparagus.
Anyway, this is what I came up with. These were all processed using Kim’s “moodswing” preset. It especially worked wonderfully on the wood!
I purposely angled the wood in this first one.
Now to get a little closer…….and changing my position to have the wood running horizontally.
I backed out again and changed position of the linen.
And I decided this was one for a square crop image.
I’m sure you’ll see this cutting board again…….once the lovely knife arrives from the prop swap! Can’t wait!
Do you see a favorite in the images? I’d love to hear!
Hugs and Have A Creative Day!
