Okay, it’s not exactly dinner plate art but it is my deviled egg tray and most of the ingredients to make my deviled eggs but I totally forgot to put some mustard on the egg tray…….sigh…….after all that work too. Not that it was hard to make deviled eggs but to come up with my set-up……me oh my……what a photographer will go through to shoot something! Hah! But it was fun anyway and now we have some deviled eggs for dinner.
This project was done for The Studio | Online this week. Barb suggested we could use a “charger”, but I don’t have one and my egg dish has this “bowl” built in, so I think that’ll work!
To be honest with you, it’s been so long since I’ve made deviled eggs that I’d forgotten what all went in with the mayo and egg, so I googled the recipe and found a really cool photo of deviled eggs made in to chicks and just HAD to do it. You can find the photo on Food dot com If you follow that link, you’ll need to scroll through the images of deviled eggs using the right side arrow until the photo comes up of the chick. So cute!
Mine is similar but they have an entire tray of them. Mine looks more like it has sunglasses on, don’t you think? And my celery leaf wilted before I finished the shoot…..it was supposed to be standing up to look like the “comb” on a chicken. Oh well, it was fun, the eggs are good and all is well!
Okay, now I’m off to post to instagram!!
Hugs and Have An Artistic Day!
