I dug into my archives today to find a Nature shot to link up with Texture Tuesdays. I’m taking a break from the point and shoot today…..maybe……if the inspiration strikes or an idea pops into my head……I MIGHT do some shooting.
Anyway, I went back to 2010 when I captured a few shots of this oh-so-gorgeous Cedar Waxwing right in our backyard. We had rigged up this make-shift trellis to grow cucumbers on and this beautiful bird was trying to pick the twine from the posts. There were actually a pair of them but I was only able to get one at a time.
The bad news is…….we’ve never seen them again. So I’m thankful that I just happened to have my camera at the ready AND with the 28-200 zoom attached!
I did some basic editing in Lightroom, then took it into Photoshop CC where I applied one of Kim Klassen’s textures…..kk-waterfront-blogsample……with a blend mode of color burn at 75% opacity.
Such a gorgeous bird! Don’t you think?
Thanks so much for stopping by and Have A Creative Day!
