I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother…..and an empty nester. I’m an amateur photographer, the family memory keeper|scrapbooker, and all around creative being. My hands (and mind) are never idle. I love sharing with my readers. Welcome to my site!
There’s something you should know about me from the get go. I’m an introvert…..whew! There I said it! I get it, you might not know from some of the shots in that image, right? (And I really should update that self-portrait.) But this…..my virtual “home” is where I can be me……not out in public or around groups of people (at least until I get to know you better).
Here is where I can share my thoughts, opinions, feelings AND my creative side.
Not only will you find my photography products here, but you’ll see things such as my memory keeping/scrapbooking, art journaling, crafts, and more. I’ve struggled over the years to separate everything but keeping track of more than one blog is just too much for me. I’d rather have everything I enjoy in one place! I know, as bloggers and business owners, we’re SUPPOSED to have a “niche”……okay, so I’m breaking the rules.
I also love to cook and bake (especially in the colder autumn and winter months). I love to garden, go camping, spend time with my granchildren, and watch movies. Just as in “The Sound of Music”……..these are a few of my favorite things.
I’ve always loved taking pictures, but my photography journey really began when I enrolled in a class at our local community college. I had a Nikon point and shoot. All the other students had DSLRs and as the first few weeks went by, I could no longer resist and bought my Nikon d90 DSLR. I’ve since taken online photography courses and the rest is history……..here I am.
I love to help others in everything I do, so you’ll find various tips and tutorials throughout my postings as well as e-guides to download.
My wish is that you’ll interact with me and if you have ANY questions, please PLEASE just use the contact form OR email me HERE. Your interaction helps me to know what content you’re looking for and how I can be of help to you.
From my virtual home to yours……..
Hugs, Cheryl
