It seems like so very long since I’ve shot any still life images.
After I did Benson’s newborn shoot (post coming soon), my best friend came to visit for a few days from Marietta, Ohio. We enjoyed each other’s company so much…visits are few and far between. I love antiques and she loves primitive things. So we had fun visiting the shops near here. Of course she found a number of primitive things for her home and I found a few things as well.
Today I’m sharing a couple images using a new linen dishtowel! And as soon as I cut that sweet watermelon, I came up with this image in my mind.
I used Kim’s “shadows” preset on this one and then played with the saturation just a bit.
And them I wanted to do something different with some oregano I snipped from my herb garden……snipped a few “snow on the mountain” blooms and a “false sunflower too”.
I bought a couple other lovely items but I’ll share those in a different post. So stay tuned to see what else I picked up in our travels!
Thanks for stopping by…..Hugs and Have A Creative Day!
